The biggest plus with this location is the staff. They're all amazing. So friendly so helpful. I had 3 big bags i hadn't realised they have a lift to get to the lobby location. I couldn't cope taking the bags up to the lobby. Told them at reception the guys went down and collected them and brought them up without question. Then later took up to the room. On check out they brought down for me to and even took to the taxi and made sure they were in the car and secure. Amazing staff. They deserve a pay rise Please if you stay there there's a tip box at the front tip them they're so kind and caring WiFi was pretty good at times but could be hit miss with speeds even on 5g sometimes getting only 1mbps other times over 50mbps They also replenish the bath toiletries the shower gel, shampoo, conditioner big bottles of these are provided they aren't tight like other hotels. And they even replenish the toothbrush with small toothpaste. So if you only use the toothpaste they'll give you another next day during clean up Never expected this sort of service from a budget hotel Other hotels don't care as much as staff members do. The guy took my 3 bags across a busy road to put into the taxi parked opposite the hotel. They were big heavy bags. Even opened the door for me of the cab. Can't fault the staff Made my experience in bkk so much better You're about 1.2km from mbk centre to easy 15-20 min walk Deposit is 300 baht they also have luggage service

We had a pleasant three-day stay at this location, and there were several highlights we appreciated. The location felt very safe and was perfect for exploring Bangkok, with close proximity to the mall and lively street festivities around Christmas. This gave us the opportunity to enjoy delicious local food and soak up the festive atmosphere with both locals and fellow tourists. The reception operators were exceptionally kind, spoke excellent English, and ensured our needs were met throughout our stay. However, there were a few challenges. When we arrived, it wasn’t immediately clear if we were at the right spot, and the elevator at street level was partly hidden and only brought us up to the reception. To reach our room, we had to climb stairs, but the staff kindly helped with our luggage during check-in and check-out, which we greatly appreciated. The room itself was small, with limited storage (no drawers) and not much space to move around. The AC unit seemed older but worked effectively after running for 20–30 minutes. Overall, the location was excellent for a short stay and allowed us to explore Bangkok comfortably. While the room and amenities were better suited for a short visit rather than an extended stay, it offered an unexpected quietness amidst the busy city (aside from occasional noise from other tourists and the thin walls).

The service was extremely nice and everyone there was super helpful, kind, and good at English. We are from Taiwan so we could only talk to them in English, but they had no problem answering any question at all. They also provide a car booking service and this is amazing because taxis in Bangkok can be very unpredictable for foreign visitors (drivers might cancel the order a few minutes before the appointed time) and the traffic can be heinous sometimes. Drivers contacted by the staff at House of Papa are very punctual and since the staff are all Thai they can communicate seamlessly. Also, they provide new bottled water every day (and put it in the refrigerator if there is one in the room). Overall, the staff there are all very professional and easy to communicate with. The environment was great and they also had a little courtyard where you could have meals. The price was reasonable as well! It really was a wonderful experience living in this hotel.

we stayed at this hotel for four nights, and grew increasingly fond of the location which was in a very vibrant student area so wondering around in the evening was great, but we got back from the main city The hotel itself was slightly bizarre and access to the room was via a fairly dark set of stairs, but once you’ve got used to that it was fine. The Wi-Fi was the best of the four hotels we have stayed in so far in our tour of Thailand and the bed the comfiest

Honestly, it exceeded my expectations. The design is very beautiful, and the room is spacious and comfortable. You'll find everything you need around the hotel, including restaurants, cafes, and a supermarket. It will definitely be my first choice when I return to Bangkok. The staff is always smiling and very helpful as well
